Why America Can Benefit from Adhering to Biblical Norms

Updated: Jun 10, 2023

The history of the United States of America is rich and varied, with a variety of cultural, religious, and ideological beliefs influencing the development of the country. The Bible and its teachings have had a significant impact on the American culture, Our society, values, and laws. Whether it's the notion of fairness, morality, or equality, many biblical principles have been incorporated into the American way of life, constitution, and Bill of Rights.

There have been many problems in American society because of the decline in adherence to biblical norms in recent years. Murders, hate crimes, and other social ills have increased as a result. Following biblical guidelines can lessen these problems and foster a community that is more tranquil and prosperous.

The commandment "Thou shalt not kill" is one of the biblical principles that America needs to follow. This law serves as a foundational tenet of the Bible and serves as a model for many Americans. The rise in murders and gun-enacted violence in America, however, indicates that this principle is not being followed. America can decrease the number of murders and make neighborhoods safer by merely upholding this biblical principle "Thou shalt not kill".

The commandment to "Love thy neighbor as thyself" is another biblical standard that America needs to uphold. This rule is based on the tenet of treating people how you want to be handled. Following this rule can aid in lowering the level of bias and hatred in American culture. Americans are more apt to cooperate and create stronger communities when they see one another as neighbors rather than adversaries.

Following religious principles can motivate Americans to give back to their communities. The Bible emphasizes the importance of diligence, saving, and prudent management. Adopting these principles increases Americans' propensity to invest in their communities, companies, and futures as well as build generational wealth.

As a result, biblical principles must be followed in America and by Americans as a whole as they serve as a strong basis for a society that is peaceful, prosperous, and moral.

If Americans follow these guidelines, they can get back to the real meaning of America "E Pluribus Unum" ("Out of many, one.")

We may be many but it is only a few who are ruining it for all of us regardless of color creed, religion sexual preference, etc.

Let's remember that there is only One Race "the human race." Bring back the Ten Commandments in our schools and watch America return to the days of prosperity and true love for our neighbors.
